Family Medicine Residency
A Message from Family Medicine Residency Program Director Carri Jo Timmer, DO:
Due to circumstances beyond our control, as a result of leadership decisions made at our primary training hospital, St. Joseph Medical Center, our 14-year affiliation agreement ended on June 30th, 2026. Consequently, Community Health Care Family Medicine Residency Program will NOT be reviewing applications through AAMC ERAS nor participating in the NRMP Match process this upcoming application/interview cycle. This decision has caused multiple ripple effects, but most importantly, it has impacted the education of future primary care physicians and disrupted the delivery of primary care services to our most vulnerable populations in the local and surrounding communities.
