Vickie Elijah has a Doctorate in Pharmacy from the University of Washington. She is the head of the Anticoagulation program (monitoring patients taking Warfarin/Coumadin), and is part of the pharmacy team authorizing prescription refills.
She has been serving people living with HIV since 2002 as the Pharmacy Manager at the Hilltop Regional Health Center Pharmacy. She has testified at Town Hall Meetings before legislators as an advocate for Community Health Care patients and issues of access to quality care and continuity of care. She participated in an HIV traineeship at Johns Hopkins and an Adherence Conference in New Jersey through American Society of Clinical Pharmacists, and is pursuing advanced studies in HIV medications.
She is a member of ANAC and AAHIVM. Vickie is very excited to partner with CHC’s HIV team in improving health outcomes – changing lives by keeping people healthy.
