Affording Healthcare

Changes to Apple Health (Medicaid) access is all over the news. Community Health Care (CHC) wants people to know that they don’t have to decide between all the important things. Affordable, accessible health care is still available to families despite their insurance status.

We can help healthcare remain affordable and accessible in a couple of different ways:

Good Faith Estimate:
Before an appointment or procedure, ask the customer service representative or member of the front desk team what the cost will be. If informed of costs before treatment, a patient can make a better-informed decision before proceeding.

Sliding-Fee Scale:
A sliding fee scale is a pricing model based on a patient’s income and family size. The larger the family and/or the lower the income, the less a patient will pay for services. If the sliding-fee scale is still out of reach, Community Health Care can work with patients on a payment plan. The sliding-fee scale is used across all Community Health Care’s services: medical, dental, behavioral health, and prescriptions from our pharmacies.

See below for the sliding-fee scales to see if qualified.
If there are questions, contact customer service or the front desk staff.
