Puyallup Health Center Capital Campaign

The Puyallup Health Center will bring much needed medical, dental, pharmacy, and behavioral health services to the downtown Puyallup area. This Health Center will provide care for the uninsured, underinsured and low income residents in East Pierce County.

The Health Center will care for as many as 14,500 patients annually and bring 70 full time staff members to the area. Community Health Care has purchased the building and parking garage at 1201 West Main Street and is conveniently located next to the Sounder Station which is serviced by bus and rail. Community Health Care is raising an additional $4.5 million to renovate the building into a $27.6 million Health Center.

This building also has a long history as an important part of the Puyallup Community. It was built in 1906, and has been an Ice House, Valley Packing, and most recently was a DSHS Office. With your support, this will become a state of the art facility and increase access to care for those with the greatest need.
