Application Process

Licensed pharmacists or pharmacy students anticipating graduation from an Accredited Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) school of pharmacy may apply to the PGY1 residency program. Applicants must be eligible for licensure in the state of Washington.

Potential candidates must register for the ASHP Resident Matching program via PhORCAS to be considered. Applications for the 2019-2020 residency year are due January 3, 2019. An interview is required.

Access the PhORCAS application portal, create your account, register with ASHP Resident Matching Program and select Community Health Care, Tacoma, Washington; use the match codes below:

  1. Complete set of pharmacy school transcripts
  2. Three (3) standardized professional reference forms and standardized questions
  3. Curriculum vitae
  4. Letter of intent
