Joe Le Roy of HopeSparks is a hero for children and their rights to quality health care regardless of their socioeconomic circumstances. What makes him so exceptional is that he doesn’t just talk about it, he applies his passion and knowledge to change things. Joe is President and CEO of HopeSparks Family Services, which is currently partnering with Pediatrics NW at Mary Bridge to integrate medical and mental health care in the primary care setting for Children. This is a huge undertaking that requires advocation with local government as well as blending beliefs and cultures of two organizations that are doing great work in the community. Under Joe’s leadership, HopeSparks has grown from a small, $1million community mental health clinic for children into a $7million clinical enterprise. His leadership has allowed for much needed growth to meet the need in the community for children and their families.
