Dr. Li earned his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. His master's degree is in Electrical Engineering from Rice University. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.

Dr. Li enjoys hiking, photography and table tennis. His professional associations include the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, Pierce County Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry.
