BenefitsMedical – coverage is provided through Group Health Cooperative. Community Health Care employees have the choice of enrolling in an HMO or POS plan at a very reasonable rate. Dependent coverage is also available for additional cost.
Dental – coverage is provided by Delta Dental. Employee only coverage is provided at a very little cost to the employee. Dependent coverage is available for a small cost.
Flexible Spending Account - Community Health Care offers a pre-tax savings program for dependent care and/ or health care related expenses.
Life Insurance – paid for by Community Health Care. Benefit is 2 times the employee's annual salary with a maximum paid benefit of $200,000.
Voluntary Life Insurance – Employees can elect to purchase additional life insurance for themselves and family members. Community Health Care offers voluntary life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment insurance through Standard The Harford Company.
Short Term Disability – Provided by Community Health Care with employees responsible for a small portion of premuim. Covers a portion (typically 60%) of employee’s salary during medical leave for non-work related illness or injury for a maximum of 12 weeks while on doctor’s care.
Long Term Disability- Provided by Community Health Care with employees responsible for a small portion of premuim. For extended illness or non-work related illness that has employee out of work for longer than 90 days.
Loan Repayment – Community Health Care is a qualified site for both the Washington State Loan Repayment Program as well as the National Health Service Corp Federal Loan Repayment Program. This program is for qualifying nursing, dental, and provider positions.
Sick Leave - Full time employees accrue 12 days of sick leave annually.
Vacation – Full time employees accrue 10 vacation days per year.
Holidays - Community Health Care recognizes 11 holidays: New Years Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, the Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and a Floating Holiday.
403b Thrift Savings Plan – All employees are eligible to contribute. After 1 year of employment, employees are eligible for a 4% employer contribution and, if contributing, an additional 1% employer match.
Continuing Education – This program encourages professional and personal development through formal education in order for staff members to maintain and improve job-related skills, maintain licenses and certifications or enhance their ability to compete for advancement opportunities with Community Health Care.
Employment Assistance Program - Community Health Care employees and their eligible family members are eligible to receive EAP services. The EAP is a confidential assessment and referral service specially designed to assist you and your family in handling personal problems.
